Hello Friends! My name is Bekah. I am a teacher by day and a makeup/curl aficionado
by night. Well, all the time really. I have spent many years playing with makeup and hair products, some great and some having disastrous results! Through this I learned what works for me and now I want to pass that info on to you. Here's hoping this blog can make up feel beautiful, inside and out, no matter your situation.
A little background on my crazy curly life:
I graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Electronic Media. At the time, blogging and making videos about my experiences and makeup tricks never even occurred to me. I decided to go back to school and follow a second passion: teaching. I returned to KU and completed a Post-Baccalaureate program and got my first teaching job in Philadelphia shortly after.
For the past 3 years I have been serving 3-5 year old children with developmental delays ranging from mild to severe. My kiddos are my inspiration as they learn and adapt to their ever changing environments. Their courage and strength each day pushed me to follow my own dreams and share everything I have learned (and will learn) with you!
I'm hoping that this page challenges young girls to young girls at heart
to rethink conventions when it comes to beauty, fashion, and
lifestyles. Let's explore this together! <3
